Where is the Forest of Dean?
The Forest of Dean in Gloucestershire is nestled between the River Severn and River Wye, close to the Welsh border. Originally the exclusive hunting ground of the Kings and Queens, it's rich food heritage supplied the royal courts. With subsequent centuries of strong industrial history, in more recent years it has quietly existed in a pocket of woodland peace and tranquillity.
